Joanna Hutchins is a published author with two books to her name, a certification as a DipWSET sommelier, and is the founder of Hutchins Wine Academy. Originally from the United States, in her career in global marketing and innovation, she has lived and worked across Asia, Europe, and the Arctic, bringing a genuinely worldwide, cross-cultural perspective to wine education.
As a corporate marketing professional and former adjunct professor teaching innovation and marketing - she's accustomed to developing frameworks that make complex ideas actionable and clear. That same skill shapes how she teaches wine - making the intimidating accessible, the mysterious understandable, and the joyful unforgettable.
Joanna believes wine should never be fussy or about gatekeeping with insider-only knowledge and vocabulary. Wine should be an everyday joy for all.
